cuz everyone's doing it....

Awkward!!!
1. Repeatidly calling a patient "Sir" on the phone, realizing it's a "Ma'am" when it's too late :(
2. Being soooooo tired on my walk home from work that my own shadow scared me (jumped like a ninja)
3. Walking to work this morning spilling my coffee all over myself, didn't notice until I got to work :(
4. Us going about 7mph on our way back home cuz the car was about to break down, driving with the hazards and having angry drivers stare at you (hey! it's not on purpose ok?!)
5. Thought I was having an "I didn't know I was pregnant" moment when I felt a "kicking" sensation... only to realize it was indigestion from the pizza earlier. Husband looking at me like I was crazy...
Awesome!!!!
1. Coming home to see a Starbucks gift card on my door from my apartment manager (a thank you for being patient while they fix our roof)
2. Great news from my sister that she'll be working closer to me (3 blocks from the clinic)
3. Coming in to work this morning with breakfast ready, yes yes and yes!
4. Managed the energy to wake up for the past week super early and walk to work.
5. Husband sending me text saying how he can't stop starring at me from across the room :) *blush*

Love it!!! I am especially guilty of awkward #2, lol.
ReplyDeleteThese made me laugh and smile. So funny for the awkward moments and happiness for the awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo it all balances out, right?
ReplyDeleteThis post reminds me of the beginning of that movie The Jane Austen Book Club (one of my favorites), in which a series of daily unfortunate things happen while someone sings about how, when life gets him down, he puts his new shoes on and everything will be alright.
Can't argue with new shoes.
