no bike riding down the coast happens here on Valentine's Day..

We like simple.

I made Pink heart pancakes this morning, who's the dork who decided V-day on a MONDAY was a good idea?!?! Monday's are for running like chickens with their heads cut off, racing to the car with scorching coffee in hand, hair half done, cursing so-and-so's name to the wind...

so we celebrated today, kind of.

hot pink food coloring does the trick.

 then inhaled by the little ones.

It made their morning.

What made MY morning was waking up to see this:

spring :) It's here. & it's outside of my bedroom windows. I don't need a Calendar to tell me that it is, I can SEE that it's here. & nothing is more exciting to me.

thanks for the sweeeeeeet flowers spring, It brightened up my room.

Now let's see what this week has in store... Hope ya'll have a great Valentine's Day.

My to-do list & Valentine's Day Coupons

I love Saturday's!
but who doesn't right?

I'll usually wake up when my husband starts getting ready for work so I can pack his lunch & make some coffee. Then make breakfast for the little man and I, grub... then not do a thing :) usually the park but that's as much activity for me as activities get! So naturally today, that's what I did. buuuuuutttttt... my apt is a mess. From my kitchen, to the living room to the bedroom. It's all neglected! .. but it's on my to-do list!!

Here's my top 5 on my list:

1. Clean Apartment (easier said than done, right?)
2. Finish that handbag I started (inspired by my friends Marc Jacobs bag)
3. Look for some good Slow Cooker recipes (I have my slow cooker sundays)
4. Get a great haircut (the mop on my head isn't doing it for me anymore!)
5. Handmade Babyshower gift (it's only 2 weeks away!!)

#5 should be #1 right about now.

Alright kids, I have to get ready.. BIG party tonight, one of my friends Venticinconiera, it's like a Quinceniera but he's turning 25, yes.. that fabulous. I think the entire Bay Area will be out tonight, sooo excited!

FYI: For those of you who don't know.. a Quinceniera is the hispanic version of a Sweet Sixteen.

Xo Candle Holder Tutorial

First and foremost I want to thank all of you guys. You've made me feel pretty awesome. I've been to your blogs and can tell you I've found some immediate favorites!!! I can't wait to get into this with you guys, So with that being said...

Here's my FIRST TUTORIAL!
