You'll understand.
So I've got an incredibly messy home today.
There is folded toddler clothes on my coffee table next to the breakfast he didn't finish (that stinker)
Unfolded clothes on my couch,
What looks like Husbands cookie trails on my carpet (Husband = 2nd Child)
Dishes need washing,
Floors need sweeping
Dinner needs to be making...
Mom = Maid
I wasn't advised.
Had to learn that all on my lonesome...
Instead of doing all of that, I sat where I'm sitting now. My Desk. Which once upon a time was neat, and organized.. My Singer was smack dab in the middle, Laptop neatly settled on the side, Fabric snuggling with each other in a bin... what happened??? Well whatever it was, it did serious damage.
I sat with the intention of re-organizing and doing away with the clutter...till I found this:
I'd bought it a while ago @ JoAnn's on sale, check out the $2.97, HOLLLLAAAA. Totally forgot about it. So I did what any person with the attention span of a goldfish like myself does, instead of cleaning and organizing like I originally planned to, I unsnuggled my fabrics and got to werkin' (misspelled cuz I said so)

It's for my iPhone. I walk downtown almost everyday during my lunch hour. I wanted something that would hold my phone (duh) but also hold my credit cards/cash (mostly credit cards cuz I rarely carry cash on me) I also attached that little hoop up top that keeps my earphone wire to the side, I'm super anal about where it's positioned.
I bought a red hard case immediately after getting my phone, but the color is starting to peel and it's getting real grungy looking (it was on sale so what'd i expect?)
I know eventually it's going to tear and wear down but nothing beats handmade.. right?!?!
Anyways, I'm off to find awesome blogs to stalk :)

I mean is it me or does it really seem like Blogger has issue after issue at the moment? I had to refresh my dashboard like 10x before my subscriptions showed, it kept telling me I wasn't following anybody.. like hell I'm not...
Wordpress is looking pretty good right about now...
Your phone case is uber-cute! I adore stitch-witchery, mainly because I feel like I'm breaking all the rules every time I use it. My grandmother taught me to sew, and stitch-witchery was "cheating" as far as she was concerned. So of course I use it all the stinkin' time, and she probably rolls in her grave!

ReplyDeleteIck, blogger bites lately. I have had all sorts of issues and actually had to modify my template to make blogger work.

Yeah agreed blogger has been acting quite strange for a while. Whats up with that. and wow did you really make that case? Your very talented, looks so cute and pretty :) and such a good idea for the iphone :) Hope your having fun blog stalking :p

ReplyDeletei definitely relate. i know the feeling of a messy home, and at times it almost feels like no matter how much cleaning you do it's still a huge mess. i guess that's what it's like being a mommy, lol.

Blogger does get annoying and for a couple of days it was down. Probably a virus and they are still ironing out the kinks.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about that gadget. ok, how does it work? It looks easy to handle, but after my episode with a sewing machine, I'm nervous about trying anything related to sewing!! (Well... other than making jewelry, Lol)
